Unmanned Aerial Systems Center
The SDU Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Center focuses on UAS education, research and innovation. The Center consists of an interdisciplinary team within the fields of robotics, software, control, computer vision, and embedded systems with the focus on designing, prototyping, and testing drones. The UAS Center partners with industry within the domains of agriculture, energy, health, transportation, and emergency services to help companies innovate and to advance the UAS industry.




The SDU UAS Center is located at SDU’s Odense, Denmark campus with labs and test facilities at Hans Christian Andersen Airport. The program offers a MSc in robotic systems engineering with a specialization in drone technology. Research areas include autonomous beyond visual line of sight operations, large-scale perception, system modeling, and energy efficiency.
